The hotel was a 27 room 3 star boutique hotel contained in a converted 19th century building. Castle undertook layout and technical supervision, interior design specifications and FF&E procurement. The hotel was operated by Castle’s management entity, Castle Management. Castle Management grew performance rapidly to where the hotel achieved a consistent 81% occupancy rate even during the global economic crisis. The hotel was awarded several customer service awards from both Expedia and Trip Advisor. The management company was successfully sold in 2012.
