With the support of private equity partners, Castle acquired a 15th century monastery in the heart of Prague’s Lesser Town District. The building was converted to a luxury 99 room 5 star hotel and spa and one of the leading hotels in the country. Castle was the operating partner and acted as project manager, financial controller, contract negotiator, technical supervisor for the site. The project involved archeological excavation and preservation of a site that at the time was the largest archeological dig in the city of Prague.
